I’ve kept my stallion at Westerly for over 2 years. Finding a boarding facility that accepts stallions was difficult enough, but I’m so happy the search ended at Westerly. The guys truly know what they are doing, how to handle a horse (even an excited stud) and how to recognize illness. I am so grateful Noe mostly, as he notified me at 9pm that my horse was not feeling well and had not finished his dinner. It was a minor bout of colic, thank goodness, but the fact that Noe caught it that late at night just shows the level of detail that goes into the care the horses receive. I truly love it at Westerly and for as long as I’m in the valley and own my horse, I do not see us moving! — AO

When you retire a very special horse (or two!), you want a place where your trusted partner can enjoy his or her retirement in a way that rewards for past performance. For me, Westerly was the place where I knew a retired show horse would be able to enjoy life and “be a horse” while still being looked after carefully. They have been wonderful to my horses, and have kept me closely informed when needed, giving me peace of mind when I am hours away. Can’t recommend enough! — AN

My horses and I have been at Westerly since 2014. It has been hands down our best boarding experience yet. One of my favorite things about boarding there is that management always answers the phone, responds to clients in real time and there is no lag time in which anxiety goes up. The care of the horses and experience of the ranch hands keeps both horses and their owners feeling safe, with a routine they can count on. When there are times that adjustments need to be made, management is always available for discussion and compromise. — JE

I boarded my horse with Westerly for a year while living in the valley. I then moved across the country for continued training while she remained at Westerly for another year and a half. The entire time, my mare received the absolute best care. They truly treated her as one of their own, including recognizing a severe illness, acting appropriately to obtain treatment and diligently looking after her while she recovered. All this with unparalleled compassion and fairness! It was a huge relief knowing she was in such competent hands. I was recently reunited with my mare and was blown away by how well she was maintained. I’m forever grateful and highly recommend Westerly to anyone and everyone! — SS

Westerly Stud & Equestrian is a beautiful facility. Miles of manicured trails with gorgeous views, eurociser, oversized covered round pen; and large box stalls with attached paddock options are also available. Many amenities, and the best arena footing around. We always have such a fun group of horse owners here. Westerly is also a very quiet, and private facility, which creates a unique experience for all who are lucky enough to board their horses here. There are many improvements happening at the moment, and we are definitely looking forward for what is to come. Wonderful facility, care, and great group of people! — RC
