Westerly Stud & Equestrian Center is proud to offer top-notch facilities
From a covered round pen with premium footing to miles of trails and everything in between! There truly is something for every rider of any discipline to enjoy. For the horses, Westerly features expansive grass pastures, shady sand pens and personalized care.
Barns
Round Barn: Consisting of 7 beautiful bright and airy stalls, the round barn is favorite for its unique structure. Each horse in the round barn is rotated on pastures or sand paddocks every day.
Horse Shoe Barn: The Horse Shoe Barn has 11 large stalls. Each stall features dutch doors on one side allowing horses to enjoy their surroundings. All of the horses in the Horse Shoe Barn are rotated on grass pastures or sand paddocks every day.
Red Roof Barn: The Red Roof Barn features 5 Stalls with lovely in and outs. Attached to the Red Roof Barn is a beautiful grass paddock. Horses in the Red Roof Barn are rotated on pastures or sand paddocks every day.
Middle Barn: The Middle Barn has 6 extra large stalls with cushy sand in and outs. Attached to the Middle barn is a large paddock space, allowing for easy turn out. As with all of the horses on the ranch, horses in the Middle Barn are rotated on pastures or sand paddocks every day.
Stallion Barn: The Stallion Barn features a row of 10 stalls with in and outs looking out over the beautiful Santa Ynez mountains. Horses in the Stallion Barn enjoy the largest in and out space and access to pasture or sand paddocks during the day.
Shed Row: Shed Row is a group of 4 cozy stalls with in and outs across from the Stallion Barn. As with the others, Shed Row Horses also have access to grass turnout or sand paddocks during the day.
Arenas
Westerly has one large 92’x260′ lighted arena with premium Posi-Trac footing that is watered and dragged daily. For half of the week, the jumps are removed so riders can freely focus on flat work. A dressage court will be added at the end of 2021.
Round Pen
Westerly has a generous 60′ lighted and covered round pen which also features brand new footing consisting of a premium sand/rubber blend. Our round pen is dragged and maintained daily.
